WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Sat again criticized the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails and suggested that "at some point" he "may have to get involved!"
Trump asserted, without providing evidence, that the FBI failed to thoroughly review Clinton'southward emails as part of its investigation into her use of a individual email server while she served every bit secretary of state.
The president also tweeted more criticism of Attorney Full general Jeff Sessions, writing that Sessions "doesn't understand what is happening underneath his command position."
Trump accused special counsel Robert Mueller of "having a field day as existent corruption goes untouched."
The tweets cap a bruising week for Trump, with a trio of men who are intimately familiar with his secrets and business dealings now cooperating with prosecutors.
Big story out that the FBI ignored tens of thousands of Crooked Hillary Emails, many of which are REALLY BAD. Also gave false ballot info. I experience sure that we will soon exist getting to the bottom of all of this abuse. At some point I may take to get involved!

First, Trump'south former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, implicated him in testimony most hush money payments to two women who allege affairs with him. On the same twenty-four hour period, his old entrada chairman was found guilty on a slew of financial charges.
Then came revelations that his longtime friend, David Pecker, the CEO of National Enquirer publisher American Media Inc., had been granted immunity from prosecution to provide information, followed by news that Trump Organization finance chief Allen Weisselberg, who had one time worked for Trump'southward begetter, was cooperating as well.
There is no indication their cooperation extends beyond the telescopic of the Cohen probe. Only for Trump — who has long demanded loyalty from those around him — the revelations have only added to long-simmering fury about the investigations that began with questions nigh Russian election meddling but have broadened from in that location.
Cohen pleaded guilty this week in federal court in Manhattan to campaign finance violations alleging he coordinated with Trump on a hush-money scheme to buy the silence of a porn actress and a Playboy model who alleged affairs. It was later reported that, as part of the probe into Cohen, amnesty was granted to Weisselberg and Pecker.
The probe into Cohen was triggered in office by a referral from special counsel Robert Mueller, who separately is looking into possible Russian interference in the 2022 United states of america presidential election. Cohen'south lawyer, Lanny Davis, has said Cohen has data "that would be of interest" to the special counsel.
Trump, meanwhile, has continued to directly much of his ire at Sessions, who infuriated him past recusing himself from the Russia probe. On Friday, he tweeted at Sessions demanding that he investigate a litany of perceived wrongs, declaring insultingly, "Come on Jeff, y'all can practise it, the country is waiting!"
Trump has on a number of occasions urged his justice department to investigate his political opponents. His tweet on Friday urged Sessions to "look into all of the corruption on the "other side" including deleted Emails, Comey lies & leaks, Mueller conflicts, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Ohr…FISA abuse, Christopher Steele & his phony and decadent Dossier, the Clinton Foundation, illegal surveillance of Trump Entrada, Russian collusion by Dems – and so much more than. Open up the papers & documents without redaction?"
In June, the Justice Section watchdog issued a stinging written report saying that while former FBI Managing director James Comey was "insubordinate" in his handling of the Clinton email investigation during the 2022 presidential election, there was no evidence he was motivated by political bias.
The written report did not second-guess the FBI'southward conclusion that Clinton should not have been prosecuted, despite repeated assertions by Trump and his supporters that anyone less politically connected than she would accept been charged.
